The B.L.O.O.M. Initiative, formerly The TRF Scholarship Fund, Inc. is a non-profit entity (501 (c)(3): 82-1568542) of The Rhythm Factory Vocal & Dance Experience. It was designed to assist families who are unable to afford an arts education for their children, or that need partial financial assistance. At TRF, we believe that every single child deserves to experience the joy of music, dance and theatre, and money shouldn't be an obstacle. The arts are proven to heal, inspire and change lives...therefore, we are dedicated to providing these opportunities to any child who desires them.
We are proud to partner with the following organizations who have contributed to this mission:
- The Carson-Myre Charitable Foundation
- Fred Paxton Challenge
- Allen Music
- Oscar Cross Boys & Girls Club of Paducah
- Marshall County Arts Commission
- The Carson Center
In the Summer of 2020, The TRF Scholarship Fund was rebranded as The B.L.O.O.M. Initiative, in efforts to expand on what was already being done. Developments are now in the works for a long-awaited dream to come to fruition - Paducah Rhythm Revue - a series of variety-style shows in which professionals can earn a wage at their craft right here in Paducah! In addition, our young "up-and-comers" will have the opportunity to shadow some of our city's most seasoned performers and have their own platform as well.
The B.L.O.O.M. Initiative Mission:
Bloom where you are planted.
Live your best life on purpose...for a greater purpose.
Optimize the creativity of our city.
Open your heart and mind to new possibility.
Motive and mentor the next generation of creative spirits.
In a nutshell, The B.L.O.O.M. Initiative seeks to bring performing artists of all walks of life together to do what makes their heart beat, as they pour that joy back into the world.
