The Rhythm Factory is always striving to give performance opportunities to students who want more than just a recreational weekly class. These featured singers, dancers and actors are able to showcase their talents for various local and regional events throughout the year. Some of our students have performed on the Carson Center stage as many as 3 times in one week! TRF is honored to have been a part of some very noteworthy events such as The Lion's Club Telethon of Stars, Stomp Towards a Cure, BBQ on the River, The Great Russian Nutcracker, Relay for Life, Dancing With Our Stars, halftime entertainment for The Harlem Globetrotters, Lowertown Arts & Music Festival, Patti's 1880's Settlement's Christmas Festival of Lights, Live on the River, and more. Anyone 9 years of age and over has the opportunity to be a "Featured Performer" at TRF, and all are encouraged to attend our Triple Threat Boot Camp every July as well as given the chance to audition for 3 to 5 different performances that TRF is a part of each year.
REWiND: a youth variety spectacular is a TRF-exclusive variety show put on every winter to raise money for the TRF Scholarship Fund and other non-profit charities. We proudly partner and share the stage with Allen Music to bring 2 hours of nonstop live music, dancing and skits from the 1940's through today! All students in REWiND are considered "featured" performers and play a lead role in this unique, high-energy production!
Select students will also attend one competition and/or one convention each year.
